What is this?
This visual board keeps your reading block organized and moving with clarity. Easily show who’s meeting with the teacher, what independent work should be happening, and when to rotate. The rotating timers and visual cues keep everyone (and you!) focused and on pace.
How do I use it?
1. Add student names under each group. 2. Customize the “Must Do” and “May Do” sections with your current activities. 3. Start your first timer (and music player) - this cues the rotation. 4. As each block ends, click to start the next timer. 5. Use the board to call students to your small group, reset expectations, or help a student re-find their place.
Other tips?
• Preload names and save time daily. • Duplicate the page for multiple copies that you can use for different days. • “Must Do” keeps work focused; “May Do” adds choice. • Use color-coded timers to teach pacing and transitions. • Add a consistent audio cue when time ends. • Keep it visible all block - students will self-manage more over time. • Modify styles, backgrounds, widgets, etc. to your liking.
